The project shown here is a feasibility study to provide new purpose-built studios. The studios are for purchase before construction, substantially reducing the costs to the buyer as two of the major expenses in a normal development are marketing costs and the cost of risks. It is the Internet which allows this proposal to be marketed at very low cost.

Each studio is to be co-operatively owned to allow each owner six weeks use of the studio per year. This shared ownership is not the same as a time-share where the property is leased over a period, because shared ownership gives you a part of the capital.

In order to build the studios, eight individuals or organisations are required to commit themselves to the project for each studio. The same principle can be applied to the purchase and adaptation of existing properties into studios. Why buy a French property which is a lot more expensive, for a few weeks use per year? If you are interested in investing capital to be a part owner of one of the artists studios, please contact Peter Ayley for more details.
